The Instructional Media and Technology team is primarily responsible for supporting the district’s instructional media and technology program that focuses on developing information literacy and technology skills. In addition to supporting the curricular needs of the district, the department provides services including technology integration, staff development, web support, video production, equipment loan, a professional collection and central video collection, and Cable Channel 21.
The professional library contains an extensive collection of resources for instructional and professional use, including a collection of multicultural/gender-fair/disability awareness resources, and a professional collection of print and non-print resources for staff and professional development.
Our Central Processing staff handles cataloging, processing and distribution of print and non-print materials to ensure that resources are easily located by students and staff. Central Processing also helps support the building media center electronic catalogs, assists with maintaining the Instructional Media and Technology Professional Collection, and addresses copyright permission requests and questions.
Cable Channel 21 airs student activities, athletic events, and other programs of interest to residents in and around Osseo Area Schools, and provides school information such as lunch menus, job postings, school board information, and information on upcoming district events.
